This week we return to our property on Indian Trail. When we were last here the property was in utter disarray. The previous tenants left so much behind, it was definitely a daunting task for our contractors. But one of the reasons it is important to have a great contractor is you know you can trust them to fix anything around the property.
When you first walk up to the property you can see a huge difference just in curb appeal. The landscape is now well maintained and looks so much better. Anyone in real estate will tell you that curb appeal definitely sells properties, so having a great presence on the street is important. The backyard is also much nicer now. It feels like a nice big open yard. It is a lot better than when we took the property. Our landscape crew absolutely had their work ahead of them but they knocked it out of the park. I recommend finding a great landscape crew who can perform any task you through at them.
After entering the living room, it was a marked difference since we were here last. You can see the floor and the walls. We filled up 3 dumpsters with the junk that was in the house from the previous tenants. It was refreshing to walk in after a week of work and see so much done. It definitely lifts the feel of the house. You always want you house to be inviting and having a nice new coat of paint on the walls is an easy way to make that feeling happen.
As you can tell it from the video, it is a process flipping a house. It won’t be ready in the first week. Flipping is a 2 or 3 weeks process on average. It is important to check up on your active projects on a weekly basis, that way you can see the progress and judge time remaining till you can sell the property.
Check back next week for our final video on this property, we will check out the final flipped house.
